Help to Deal with Domestic Violence
After my husband tried to murder me, I decided I needed to understand myself. I knew that I
would need help doing so I sought out a family therapist. Through
belief in myself, my journey, and my Higher Power, I found that light shines through darkness, but it takes a lot of work.
So
if you're feeling your world is out of sorts, I encourage you to find
your inner strength in whatever way works best for you. Below are some
of the
steps I took along other helpful Internet sights
dedicated to education and recovery from psychopaths, sociopaths and
domestic violence. Following the organizations are books that may also help you understand more about domestic violence and how psychopaths are abusers.

stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by
a terrifying event. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and
severe anxiety, as well as
uncontrollable thoughts about the
event. Many people who go through traumatic events have difficulty
adjusting and coping for a while. But with time and taking care of
yourself, suchtraumatic reactions usually get better. In
some cases, though, the symptoms can get worse or last for months or
even years. Sometimes they may completely shake up your life. In a case
